We have some bad news, dear members. A few of you have suffered injuries during yesterday’s promo shoot. We want to wish a speedy recovery to Bart Topsy and Zoulandur, who all pushed themselves to the limit while performing for the video.

As if that wasn’t enough, Goldi Camcorder was helping to produce our promo video, but it seems they developed a chronic injury during the past year in storage and it flared up badly today during post-production. Goldi is OK for now, but isn’t operating at full capacity. If you know where to get a hold of a VCR timing belt, please let someone in the maintenance department know. And please send your good vibes to Goldi!

Hi members! We have an update for you on the directory. We keep getting new members which is great, and we’re still getting all their details into the system. Meanwhile, Horsolem and some of their components have come up with a very cool graphic.

Have you ever struggled to understand how at Chronogenica each of us is a component and an assembly? Check out the image above. Every circle is a member (the big one around everything is Chronogenica themselves). If a member has components*, they contain smaller circles. The bigness of a circle doesn’t mean it’s more important. It just makes it easier to understand which members are related, or where they “live”.

As you may already realize, the directory is always transforming, and we’ll be updating this graphic alongside.

Zoulandur, Honsul, Powershot and the BEAM bots are putting together a promotional video for the front page of the Chronogenica website. Want to be a part of it? Get a hold of one of them soon because we’re filming later this week!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the member meeting today, and big thanks to the governing documents committee for putting together a draft of our constitution. There are still some kinks to work out, so we won’t formally adopt it until it sees some amendments. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for July 7, 2021, so please keep it in mind!

We’re blown away by how many of you have been signing up! The database is growing steadily, and we’ve been streamlining the interview process so that we can handle the unexpectedly enthusiastic response. Don’t get us wrong, we definitely expected that you’d be excited about being members of Chronogenica!

If you haven’t seen one of our facilitators yet, hang in there! We’ll be following up in the next few days to pick up the stragglers.

Very exciting news! We are just about to start our first membership drive ahead of the general assembly. You might see our facilitator making the rounds and gathering everyone’s information. From this we’ll be setting up the membership directory, and that’s the first step to describing our organizational body (bodies)!

Warm greetings to all of our founding members and staff! As you may know from our meetings over the past few weeks we’re almost ready to launch CHRONOGENICA. There are a few more details to work out, but things are moving steadily and we’ll soon have things up and running. A lot of very exciting ideas are coming together for this project!

Governing Documents Committee

Several of you signed up in person for the governing documents committee, and there are still spots available if you’d like to have some input on the first draft. Once the documents are ready we’ll post them up on the internal site for review before the first general assembly (date and time TBD).
