DRAFT Constitution – pending official adoption by the membership. Many of the governance aspects that apply to human organizations are challenging to apply in a machine-human organization. This is our first attempt at defining Chronogenica’s ground rules and protocols, using a human co-op model as a basis.
What is a meeting?
How can humans and machines communicate and make decisions in an effective and collective manner? This example of an early Chronogenica members meeting illustrates one attempt, in which the machine participants contribute through the interpretation of a human secretary.
Further research since 2021 has opened up new avenues for exploring human-machine communication and collaboration, with the ritualization of social interactions forming a core approach. Our work with the PCZ art collective in 2023 illustrates some of this work.
